We are a mother/daughter team who design and create one-of-a-kind hand painted studio furniture. We enjoy the thrill of hunting down and rescuing unique antiques and other wooden cast offs and giving them a second chance to bring beauty, function and a smile to their next home.
We love the recycling aspect of our art and sometimes use salvaged architectural elements in our furniture makeovers. Most pieces have had other lives which brings a warmth and character to the finished design
To prepare for the decorative work each piece is given a fresh base coat. Our designs unfold as we begin to paint. We love to combine the art of stenciling, decoupage and hand painting with faux painting techniques in our designs.
We strive for a balance of bold design, harmonious color combination and sophistication with whimsical touches just for fun! After all, who says decorating has to be serious?
